My students need S.T.E.M. and art supplies such as scissors, felt, wiggly eyes, construction paper, tempera paint, paint brushes, pipe stems, and more.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." Benjamin Franklin.
Life as a 7th grader can be exciting and fun. I want to offer to best of both worlds to them through these awesome STEM projects. Get ready world here we come.
Entering middle school can be such a challenge for kids.
Our kids come from low to middle income housing. They have the biggest hearts, but sometimes they don't show it. I think that my students have amazing possibilities in life, if they just try and accomplish the tasks at hand - and they can do it!
My Project
Envision a classroom full of laughter and smiling faces, as middle school kids create their drawings in 3-D. That is what's so much fun about S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and Art projects. We can take a great learning subject and build it into something great and wonderful. All of these supplies will make it possible for my students to create 3-D projects and drawings. I can just see them now building pipe cleaner statues, and construction paper structures. The ideas are endless! These kids will be learning from all angles and having fun as they complete their projects. With these supplies it will help make all of this possible. Who knows what will come out of this class just by supplying art supplies for kids just wanting to have fun?
I want to thank you for reading my proposal.
I love my job and I love learning with my kids. That is exactly what will be happening in my classroom, we will be learning together. I look forward to seeing those smiling faces as we learn. I want to thank you for helping a classroom of worthy students and teacher.
