Help me give my students a variety of stem resources that include areas of math, science, and literacy! The Fairytales Stem Kit provides reading and engineering opportunities all in one.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Resilient! That is my students in a word. They are bouncing back from the years of covid shut downs, on line learning, and ten day quarantines with a love of learning and school that is amazing. They are still working hard to learn all the skills that they missed during those times, especially in areas like reading, math and science.
With kits like the Fairytale Stem Kit, the brick building kit, and the magnetic tiles kit, STEM can help my students explore math, science, and reading in a hands on way.
A way that involves them with their peers in problem solving and creativity. The stem kits will allow them to do that through exploration with materials that will engage them and build their love of learning. I want to help my students "build" that love of learning!
