STEM and Organization

Help me give my students stem activities and tools to help organize the classroom for easier access. These items will help the students take care of the classroom materials, be able to use them independently, and quickly.

My Students

We have a small school in the rural area of St. George, Utah. We enjoy getting to know all of the students in our school and share the passion to help each student be successful.

We have many different aspects in our school including poverty, low income, bilingual, ESL, and gifted.

We love the dynamics and school culture that we have and love to provide many opportunities for our students. The students at our school find a love for learning by gaining trust in the teachers and faculty that surround them. Our faculty works well together and share the responsibilities of helping students achieve success!

We are grateful for all of your help and appreciate the focus on educational needs. We value the materials at our school and show pride in how we take care of them. Thank you for taking time to learn about my school and the students that I get to work with every day!

My Project

These materials will help organize the classroom so that the students are more independent and can keep the classroom clean. During Covid-19 we have learned that an organized and clean classroom is the key to keeping kids in the classroom. Using these materials will help us do that. It will also help us take care of the materials that we have so that they stay nice and can be used for a long time.

By having the students take care of the classroom, it gives them ownership and responsibility.

This helps them to show respect and help to keep the classroom clean and the items well taken care of.

The other items listed are for STEM activities that will not just be used for my grade level, but for the whole school. We are a STEM designated school where we do EXPLO classes that the whole school is involved in. With COVID putting the kids behind in their learning and social skills, these classes have really helped them to be successful.

We will be using the headphones on our computers for recording which gives our students limitless learning opportunities. They can record themselves reading, record a project, talk about math, and listen to so many education lesson online. The headphones would be used by one student which would also help with the spread of germs and help to keep the students healthy and in school.
