Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I want to bring my love for teaching science back into the classroom. Young children should be able to have hands-on exploration while learning. Stem within the classroom is so powerful for young minds to build upon their curiosity.
I chose a lot of nonfiction books to help bring the literacy aspect.
It was an important decision to make sure that they were leveled non-fiction books that way students aren’t just hearing me read to them about it but they are able to go and explore on their own in text that they are able to decode and comprehend.
