My Students
My students love to learn and are enthusiastic about new projects and challenges. We love using different strategies and learning methods to keep learning fun and exciting. My students love to try new things and are excited to come to school every day!
My students are hard workers and many have special needs because of the challenges over the last two years due to the pandemic.
Many of my students are lacking basic resources at home. Because we are located in a small rural community, many of my students come from families that face economic hardships because of limited employment opportunities.
My Project
These STEM materials that I am requesting will be an exciting addition to our classroom! Students will love the engaging hands-on STEM kits that have them building Robot Crawlers and Mechanical Claws. With my students being at a small rural school, we have limited supplies and this will be a big introduction to the world of robotics.
In addition to the STEM Robotics Kits, I have also requested some math manipulatives for even more hands-on experiences.
Some students have a harder time counting money and the Money Hands-On Teaching Kit provides opportunities for students to practice real life skills that are so important.
The art materials will be wonderful to help students to engage in a more creative way. Our world has been limited for the past two years because of the pandemic. These art materials will help my students be more expressive and communicate in different ways.
