My Project
Our students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! They truly love being able to create their own projects, interact with each other and encourage each other to be their best self.
They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically.
Truly, they are our inspiration!
The materials that we are requesting are for our STEM Station time. Hands-on STEM programs and activities teach more than science and mathematics concepts. They help your child discover real-world applications, spark their creativity and develop 21st-century skills including media and technology literacy, productivity, social skills, communication, flexibility and initiative. While students are engaged in purposeful centers, kinder teachers will have the opportunity to work with others individually or with small flexible group to meet the individual needs of each student.
For example, the math games will provide my students with an opportunity to use play games to enhance the math skills we are learning in class. The board games and puzzles will help allow me to show students that reading and math can go hand in hand. To keep students engaged, I would love to incorporate more hands on projects in science. Kinder students have asked not only to bloom butterflies but also make a volcano explode. The materials being requested would help do that.
