This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What I love about my students is that they get so excited about Science. It wasn't always the case but as we move from exploring the Earth and the Sun, students get to develop a deeper understanding of how our solar system works. We explore chemical reactions and physical dynamics that make the world around us far more interesting.
These sentence strips and magnetic display trays will be used to display and expand our science vocabulary wall throughout the school year.
The jumbo colored craft sticks will be used to construct a bridge and test its strength.
The Space Theme Box will be used to better explain our solar system and the Sun's role in eclipses, new moons, full moons along with teaching what the moon looks like when it is waning and waxing.
