My Students

My students are creative, full of questions, and love to be challenged. They love hands-on, "out of the box", problem-based projects. They come to school each day ready to tackle a variety of experiences to open their minds to new things and push themselves. As their teacher I am and constantly trying to come up with more ways to engage them.

I have a classroom full of beautiful little souls that crave learning, they are each unique in how they feel challenged, pushed, and successful.

I incorporate flex seating, group work, and a variety of learning strategies to enable each one of them to shine in their own way. They inspire me each day and are such an incredible group, I feel humbled and lucky for the many ways they continue to impact myself and one another. I love their creativity and try to match it with things to help them stay motivated, not get bored, and give them something to work towards.

My Project

These items will help motivate, excite, and awe my students. They are a creative bunch of gifted learners and I'm always trying to find new ways to keep them pushing themselves, engaged, and responsible for their learning. There are times they need an extra push to stay on top of their daily tasks, hw, and projects. I know their eyes will light up when they see these items enter our room!

My group this year needs lots of help with cheering one another on, working with others, and engaging in group discussions.

I hope to see them learn empathy and respect for one another.
