My Project

I am requesting items that will help my students be the best version of themselves! Students will learn to regulate themselves through calming their nervous system by tapping into their sensory exploration. It has been well researched that children are able to regulate themselves easier when they are able to use their senses to explore their world while discussing difficult topics. I see this frequently in my center where students crave sensory connection.

As a result, I am requesting many sensory items to help my students become better regulators.

I am also requesting items including books that I will use in my groups to help students process things such as grief, family changes, skills for making friendships, self- esteem building and much more! Through the outlet of creativity, students will learn valuable skills to be able to be the best students they can be!
