Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I believe that putting Science and STEM manipulatives into our students' hands will continuously excite and inspire them to explore the world around them. These manipulatives and reading materials will help them connect classroom learning and explorations to their lives.
Igniting their interest fosters the opportunity to connect their Science interest to their Reading, Writing, and Mathematics knowledge too.
When learning is fun and engaging, it becomes infectious and infinite for both students and educators.
Manipulatives in public school classrooms are limited. Therefore supporters like you play a pivotal role in engaging students with resources that help them connect their academics to the world around them.
My 1st graders are independent, inquisitive, and cooperative. We have created an inviting family environment within our classroom.
