Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love that my students enjoy reading, science, and engaging in collaborative projects. I also love that they never hesitate to help one another and they root for one another. My students are special because they have a growth mindset. They do not give up and they know that when they make mistakes, it’s a learning opportunity.
The STEAM kits will motivate my students to engage in science projects while practicing reading comprehension.
These kits are hands-on and allow students to collaborate with their peers. They also foster curiosity and a love for learning.
My goals for this project are to use these STEAM kits to integrate science and language arts. I also want them to learn about fairytales to foster creativity.
