Steam/Engineering Collaboration with the Overdeck Family Foundation and EiE
Help me give my students a highly engaging and informative lesson that will enhance their problem solving and critical thinking skills with a real-world focus.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are fun, energetic and ready to learn! In our class, we believe that “teamwork makes the dream work!” And that is exactly what we practice every day. They love to help each other out and pick each other up when one hasn’t had a great day. Together we can always achieve more whether it is through our studies or making someone feel loved, and checking in our emotional health is important! We plan to use these materials to expand our research and knowledge on upcoming technology and a step into the business era.
My Project
I want to provide my students with more exposure to real-world, hands-on, engaging lessons that will prepare them for the 21st century. This kit is going to be a great way to make this possible! The world they will face when they graduate will require skills that will allow them to think critically and work collaboratively to solve problems. This lesson/kit will help spark their interest and excitement about the possibilities available to them in the future. A job in engineering can greatly increase the opportunity for the students in my classroom. Please be a part of making this possible.
