My students and I have developed a strong bond. I have 20 beautiful children who motivate me to be the best teacher possible. They are thinkers and writers, and so much more.
My students are so special.
They are so excited to jump right into learning and they are happy to try new things. When presented with an activity, game, or lesson they are jumping up and down to respond and participate. As a teacher it is truly inspiring to facilitate.
My Project
There are three specific ways we will use these Chromebooks in the classroom to enhance our STEAM program. The first way we will use the Chromebooks is to read ebooks during Reading Workshop. There are so many awesome websites that will get kids reading books that are directed right towards their interests. One example is Epic Books. They have thousands of leveled books for kids to read within the classroom environment. The second way we will use the Chromebooks is to post on our class blog. The third way is with our new art program Studio in the School.
Kids need to dive into the 21st century and develop technological skills that will allow them to have a more successful future.
We also have a class website that if we have Chromebooks the kids can access daily.
