it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
STEAM support for my class & afterschool STEAM clubs! Now that all my special education students have their own devices from the district, I hope to help keep them charged and protected as they transport their Cromebooks between school and home. Giving them computer sleeves will minimize damage when they are in their backpacks. We have also been blessed with a local museum teaching science through art, but we need a drying rack to put our work on between lessons. In past grants we received a flat screen tv, so the Firestick and cover will help us use our Discovery ED and other teacher subscriptions with this screen.
With the STEAM/Robotic room available for my class and afterschool programs, I have Vex IQ Robots, and playing field, but we need a better charging station for all the batteries and controllers.
We need larger spaced power strips with USB charging. My class and STEAM club enjoy hands-on science and engineering. The rocket kit will be a nice safe upgrade to our coke bottle air rocket experiences.
