Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My second grade students have a passion for learning even through distance learning. Every day they are eager to learn and come to "ZOOM class" ready to see what is in store for them. They love learning new things especially science and social studies. Many enjoy building things on their own and like sharing their creations with the class.

My Project

My second grade students enjoy STEAM projects even through ZOOM. They love Science and STEAM lessons. They will be able to construct vehicles with the correct materials that will be provided in their Grab & Go packets. With hands on materials, they will be able to be Engineers. Also by having a gift card to Teacher Pay Teachers, I will be able to find fun and engaging STEM/STEAM projects for them such as Leprechaun Traps, Bridges, etc. There are many projects and handouts on TPT to choose from. I will be able to print out activities and make copies for their Grab & Go packets. I know my students will be thrilled to receive these projects and handouts in their packets.
