STEAM (STEM) Art Fun!

My students need Cricut Explore Air Machine Bundle with tool kit and seasonal designs and the accessories needed for the Cricut Explore Air Machine and supplies to help them learn STEM and math skills through hands on projects

My Students

My special education class includes autism, intellectual delayed, developmentally delayed and speech-language disabilities. Since there is a range in cognitive and fine motor ability levels, we often have to be creative when learning STEM and math concepts. Learning through hands-on activities seems to help my students learn and understand STEM and math concepts at a better and faster pace during our circle time activities and center time. We love to create bridges and houses to promote the learning of STEM and math concepts. We would love to see our preschool students developing their skills in STEM and math through hands-on projects.

My Project

My special education fully self-contained classroom would benefit tremendously from having the Cricut Machine and accessories and supplies to learn STEM and math concepts through project-based activities. My students will create all types of STEM and math activities. The Cricut can cut paper to make all kinds of shapes and boxes to stack and build all kinds of things such as bridges and houses. By having the Cricut Machine, it will cut the time and preparation needed and we will be able to produce more STEM and math activities. Currently, I cut out all the materials by hand. Cricut Maker will cut images directly from my computer which I am currently unable to do. The Cricut maker will also allow me to cut other materials besides paper. This Machine and other supplies will enable me to create more STEM and math-based activities that will teach my students in a shorter amount of time.
