This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach life science and physical science, incorporating hands-on, project-based learning in my classroom. I also incorporate technology, helping students develop 21st-century presentation skills, and promoting inclusion and equity. My classes incorporate STEM and STEAM skills for engineering.
My students need lab supplies and classroom basics to learn about engineering, physics, and biology, enhancing classroom instruction and learning.
These classroom essentials and other materials will enhance student understanding and research, promote critical thinking, encourage inclusivity and community service, while make learning more engaging and fun. We will use these resources as samples and examples to learn essential concepts and gain further understanding. This project promotes community service and requires meaningful research, planning, and organization.
These resources will enhance their understanding and research, making learning more engaging and fun. The materials will be used for inquiry labs, design and modeling, and to create educational learning visuals. Students can research scientists and their diverse contributions to innovation. The items will be used for science labs, vocabulary, and activities. These supplies will create visual examples of important learning concepts, and the research technology resources will provide additional information beyond instruction. These will also be fantastic communication tools for promoting inclusivity. Additionally, we will have access to STEAM materials for better access to technology in our classroom environment.
