My Project

Most of my students are entering school for the very first time! I want them to be excited and eager to learn about all subjects. Especially, how fun math and science can be, and how these subjects integrate through all the content areas.

My Kindergarten students love to learn math and science by exploring and experimenting with these tools.

I am a firm believer that we learn best by doing and that the students in my classroom are most successful when given a wide range of learning tools. Hands on materials are especially important at this stage in their development when they are learning to use their fine motor and problem solving skills to help them succeed in all areas.

I am excited to enrich my classroom with these STEAM focused activities that will be available for individual use and as centers with a small group. As students become engaged in these materials they will be building their math, science. language and social skills as well.
