STEAM: Rock On

Help me give my students STEAM materials to make their mark in our new garden.

My Project

Our school has a brand new garden that we are making. It has no personal touches or feeling of ownership, yet. The rock painting will allow students to individualize their space and own their piece of the garden.

The STEAM component of the garden is based around science, technology, engineering, arts and math.

We will be using all the STEAM components while learning in our new outdoor space. The rocks will also help students understand they are part of the garden and outdoor space. The cart will allow portablity of items and be used to help with learning lessons as a desk top, too. My students will feel a sense of accomplishment and community by creating a piece of themselves in their learning enviornment.
