This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kindergarten students need to learn more about STEAM. A non-fiction reader will give the students an opportunity to learn about science, technology, English, arts, and mathematics.

STEAM gives students examples of how different types of subjects work together!

How can we do math and science at the same time? How can we measure an animal or look at the weather in an animal habitat? Kindergarten students need experiences that show them that this is possible. This will help with understanding jobs or professions that need these types of skills in the workplace.
