STEAM Morning Tubs

Help me give my students STEAM toys (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) for Morning Tubs.

My Project

The STEAM toys for morning tubs will help students to be creative thinkers and problem solvers. Students can make use of their imagination and build complex structures. They can practice their fine motor skills while playing with the toys. They can also build their science and math brains as they come up with cool ideas and collaborate with their table buddies.

My goal for this project is to have enough toys for the classroom so each table will have a morning tub.

As we rotate toys, students will only see each morning tub about once per week, so the selection will remain fresh for them. The toys for morning tubs can also be used for Fun Friday, where students get to pick their own toys.

Hands-on learning has many benefits for early childhood education. Students learn better when they can connect real-world challenges with the science and math knowledge they are gaining at school. While learning to share toys and collaborate, they are also practicing their speaking and listening skills as well as their social-emotional skills.

I am hoping that this project will allow our students to be engaged in their learning of math and science!
