Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students are very special for the simple fact that they overcome obstacles daily and come to school eager to learn. We are a Title 1 school that is 100% free lunch. Yet despite this our students come knowing our school and their classroom is a safe haven were they can learn and explore. We consider ourselves a diverse community of learners who simply need the proper tools in order to aid on our inquiry process. Thank you so much!
My Project
Students don't always have the resources to make the trip to our local children's museum in order have a interactive/ hands on science experience. This room will provide our community with a similar environment for students to fall in love with all areas of science. Also it provides our students with something to look forward to that is math and science related. This room will help them get kids excited about STEAM subject areas. So thank you so very much for you generosity and consideration. This is going to make such an incredible impact once complete and I look forward to seeing kids smile while they have fun being young scientists, artists, mathematicians and engineers.
