My Project

The requested art materials, puzzles, games, and Gravitrax will provide real-world learning experiences for our students to think, create, design, and build like artists and engineers! These STEAM resources are challenging, engaging, and rigorous. They will provide learning experiences that foster a growth mindset and build resiliency, where failures and mistake are encouraged. Gifted and high achieving students need enrichment and extensions. In-depth explorations, creative thinking opportunities, and STEAM tasks to develop their communication, team-building, critical thinking, problem solving, and leadership skills. Connecting STEAM activities to career pathways and AVID will hep our students see the relationship between innovation and real-world problem solving.

STEAM learning opportunities will teach our students to question like a scientist, design and build like an engineer, and create like an artist!

We want our students to be successful problem solvers in life; the ability to think creatively and be an innovative thinker is a key to that success! All of the materials purchased in this grant will be used for years to come and will be shared among all grade levels.
