My students need Chromebooks to access internet for research, online testing, writing papers in Google Docs, etc. Covers help protect and identify them. EDU Management is required on all Chromebooks in our school district.
As a teacher in a low-income school, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. To help them be able to accomplish their educational goals, I want to have the means to provide them with extra technology in the classroom so they can work to make up work, in small groups, and in teams.
My students like to please, create, and explore to find answers to problems.
Many of them are being raised in single parent households and receive a free lunch based on their socioeconomic status. When students are worried about their next meal, they most likely don't have internet in their homes. I may not be able to control their home lives, however, I can certainly control their experience during the school day. By helping students succeed, I can help change their pathways from Drop-out to successful college students with careers for the future.

My students need Chromebooks to access internet for research, on-line testing, writing papers in Google Docs, etc. Covers help protect and identify them. EDU Management is required on all Chromebooks in our school district. Having these Chromebooks and covers in our classroom will help enlighten our students in research, writing, group work, and make-up work. Students will use the Chromebooks alone and in small groups. In a low income school, we are excited to be able to have technology to teach to the future. I have taken classes and seminars to be knowledgeable to teach these subjects. Your Generous Donation will give our students a chance to succeed in the world of STEAM! With this equipment they will have a chance to be creative as well as successful! Hopefully we will be able to start learning coding. With this opportunity our students will have access to and be able to enjoy technology to a greater degree.
