Help me give my students these STEAM material projects will allow my students to foster their learning in science. Students will be using these materials to work on STEAM projects at the end of the year!
Our library is the center of learning in our diverse population. Our students visit the library often for a variety of reasons and we want to continue to serve them. BS is a large urban public school with almost four thousand students in the high school alone. BS operates its own school system for the city's approximately fifteen thousand, six hundred students.
We are the city of champions and want to continue being that!
Our students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds with over eighty percent of our students receiving free lunch. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can, so they can be successful one day. Our school serves students in grades kindergarten through eighth and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers and a safe learning environment. I teach 28 English language learners students this year. Many of my students are just learning English and come from different countries around the world.
My Project
My students are not able to use these types of materials at home. Many of my students are new to the United States. Students will be using these various materials will complete STEAM projects.
STEAM allows us to be hands on with our learning.
The fourth grade will be learning around force, motion, and energy. With these materials will allow students to visually see these topics. Because my students are visual learners and learning English its important for them to see the science in a fun and creative way! Getting these materials will allow for a more hands on fun experience with science.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
