My Students

I have been given the opportunity to work with an amazing group of children for the past 7 years. While all of my students have been labeled special needs, the reality is that they are an amazing group of kids who just learn in different ways then what is considered typical.

My students continue to amaze me with their humor, their desire to learn, and through everything, they never give up.

These students require lots of supports to help them learn and thrive in this world. With the amazing people in their life, they are not only succeeding but are surpassing everyone's expectations.

My Project

Hands-On STEAM-based projects is the future of my students' education! Hands-On materials will benefit my students in a multitude of ways, including the following:

- Promote Socialization

- Give Students Choice

- Creats a Positive Classroom Environment

- Thinking Outside the Box

- Collaborative Learning

- Provide Opportunities for Play

Now I need your help! Providing things like Legos and K'Nex to my students will inspire creativity and motivate further learning in subjects where they struggle to understand paper and pencil examples. I will be able to create year-long projects with these supplies that will introduce STEAM and promote a love of learning and science.
