My Project

My students are creative, curious thinkers who thrive when given opportunities to explore and problem-solve in real-world ways. In our diverse classroom, it's essential to provide all learners, regardless of background or ability, with access to engaging materials that support higher-level thinking and collaboration.

Each book in this project presents a real-world problem or challenge that connects to STEAM concepts, encouraging students to think critically and creatively.

These stories naturally lead into hands-on activities where students apply the Engineering Design Process to plan, test, and refine their ideas. Materials like paper, markers, and manipulatives will support students as they

sketch designs, build models, and collaborate with peers.

This project integrates literacy with science, technology, engineering, art, and math, creating meaningful learning experiences for all students. In our diverse classroom, it’s essential to provide access to engaging, higher-level thinking opportunities.
