This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work at a Title One school in an urban area that welcomes students from all over the world. My students are intelligent and eager to learn. They are also creative with a strong interest in technology. My students are also imaginative and fun-loving children.

The corona virus pandemic has greatly affected my students learning.

During the extended school closures. working with technology is even more important. An iPad would allow me to stay in touch with my students and to enhance their learning with all of the most up to date apps.

My Project

The iPad would enable me to create instructional materials that use technology that could be shared with my students both in the classroom and remotely. Students will have continuity of learning as they view instruction from their home. I will use the iPad for a variety of subjects. These will include science, math, engineering, writing, reading, art, music, and more. The iPad will connect to the most up to date apps to help the students learn.

Once we return to school, the students will use the iPad to create movies, learn Keynote, edit their writing papers, do research, and more.

This iPad will expand my students reach into the world of learning.
