This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Tons of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) resources to kick off the start of a new year.

Help me provide my students with rich opportunities to engage their minds in unique learning experiences while getting them excited about being at school.

I have seen firsthand how STEAM resources engage students in active learning. Students are able to use these resources during their free choice time and in our afternoon STEAM time designated to give them opportunities to build natural connections that encourage learning and problem solving.

Students have an opportunity to guide and choose their learning and build real life skills.

Also help increase agency in the classroom with different organizational tools! Having a classroom mailbox and individual chair pocket organizers, students get to build leadership skills by taking care of their personal materials!
