My school is a small school of 250 students. We are often overlooked because we are so tiny. Our budget is smaller than nearly every school in the district. Our school's budget covers minimal supplies and not much else.
Our class is made up of a group of diverse learners.
The students are eager to learn and enjoy discussing what they're learning. The students work collaboratively and independently throughout the day. The students are very supportive of each other and share a love of learning.
My Project
I am trying to get an iPad funded so that each student can get their own during classroom instruction. My plan is to have them use the online platform, Seesaw, to submit their assignments. Doing it this way will allow each student to submit their work online and not use the traditional paper.
One way I plan on using the iPads is by having students use resources posted to Seesaw.
Students will be working on their STEAM assignments using Teacher Pay Teachers resources, Nearpod, and NatGeo online videos. Students will upload their assignments and experiments for the teacher and other students to see and comment.
