My Project
My students are ready to become empowered learners through the use of an exciting and innovative new classroom environment. STEAM center areas will provide an innovative, learning experience to help elicit excitement in STEAM as well as to enhance the classroom instruction.
STEAM centers is designed to bring unique educational experiences consisting of hands-on, interactive activities which allow students the opportunity to move around the room to various center areas to perform activities and experiments that enhance their learning.The donations of the STEAM centers will provide my students with materials that focus on concepts, such as plant life cycle and pollinators.
Along with the STEAM materials, the children will listen to read aloud books that focus on each scientific concept to view the topic in another perspective. Both the STEAM centers and interactive read alouds will help create a fun and inviting classroom environment as well as improve attention spans and focus.
