My Project
Students in the STEM program are given opportunities to build and create various models for all subjects. STEM concepts are incorporated across the student curriculum. During independent work times, students have the option of visiting the STEAM art cart location to begin creating their designs and models for upcoming projects. Making sure students have the materials they need for their designs is an essential component in motivating them. I have noticed amazing differences in my students when they are given a choice in the materials to use.
STEAM art materials will help further student creativity, imagination, and innovation in student designs for their STEAM and STEM-related projects.
The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional materials options for their design builds, while allowing for more arts integration.
I have seen how choice can positively affect my students' work and demeanor and hope that the additional options will help us grow even more.
