My Students
We are a middle-class school located in a middle-class neighborhood.
I currently have 28 6th graders in this class.
Many students need to work from home multiple times through the school year due to illness which means they are able to do school work but unable to be in-person in class. We want to keep the work we do organized and easy to access, especially if students need to transport their work from classroom to home and back again.
A good quality binder, subject dividers and other materials would really help them maintain this organization.
My 6th graders love keeping their work organized as they build good skills to prepare for going to middle school next year. When they use materials that help them stay organized, their engagement goes WAY up, because they are not spending time looking for papers they are learning. They struggle with keeping their papers and materials organized just using folders or putting things in their desk.

This will also help my students get ready for middle school because it will teach them to keep their materials divided by class.
