This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come to class full of energy and ready to learn! My class consists of mostly African American and Hispanic children. They vary from all sorts of economical backgrounds. Some of them don't have a computer at home or access to books. That's why when they come to my classroom, they love to take full advantage of the materials I have for them. I treat my students as I do my own children. As a first year teacher, I have a lot of things to continue to buy, and your donations will truly be appreciated!
My Project
I requested the book shelf and organizer storage cart for my students to help keep our classroom library and small group materials organized. I have taught my students that staying organized is the way to be in First Grade! The shelf will hold many books in our classroom library for my students to be able to read, since the book shelf I have now does not hold as many books. The organizer storage cart will help keep their small group materials organized and easily accessible to them. I believe these items will be of great use in my classroom and all donations will be greatly appreciated.
