Staying on Beat: Empowering Students with a Smart Classroom Calendar
Help me give my students the Skylight Calendar Max 27 Organizer—a large, digital, wall-mounted calendar that clearly displays our daily and weekly schedules in real time.
In our general music and core classroom, students don’t just learn—they lead. From managing class jobs, to transitioning between music practice and core subjects, our students are building real-world skills like time management, collaboration, and accountability. But to do that effectively, they need tools that support their growth.
We’re requesting the Skylight Calendar Max 27 Organizer—a large, digital, wall-mounted calendar that displays our daily and weekly schedules in real time.
With its visual layout and simple syncing features, students can see what’s coming next, plan their time, and independently prepare for their responsibilities.
This calendar will be a central hub in our classroom, helping students stay organized while promoting independence. It will support student-led routines, from setting up instruments to rotating through academic centers, and reinforce a growth mindset by giving students ownership over their time. It will also enhance our class jobs system, allowing students to help manage the calendar, lead transitions, build leadership skills, and gain digital literacy in our ever-advancing world.
With your help, we can empower students to take charge of their learning journey—one day at a time.
