Staying Healthy in the Classroom

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Students from this school come from around the local area. We are located by the Port of Los Angeles. I seek to spark the love of learning to the students in our learning community.

I am a 1st grade teacher that wants to build a community of learners that encourage and believe in one another.

At this time, they are learning about the world around them. They are a wonderful, diverse group of students who enjoy building on their knowledge throughout the year using hands-on activities and collaborating with their classmates. Throughout our 1st grade learning adventure, students grow in confidence and creativity. Help my students enjoy learning together.

As a teacher, I want to provide students with a memorable learning experience that they will cherish and encourage them to seek more learning experiences.

My Project

The students in my classroom are eager to learn and grow with their peers; however, they need to keep their material individually stored for safety reasons. The seat bags will increase independence in those students that struggle with organizational skills. The plastic bags (2 galloon and quart) will store their reading books and learning material. The packaging tape will be used to reinforce the plastic bags to make them sturdy. The plastic bins will be used to store individual packages of markers and reading tools.

Help increase learning and decrease the spread of germs.

As their teacher, it is my goal to keep our classroom setting and environment safe. These resources will help foster a safe and place to learn and grow!
