My Students
My students are outstanding, inspiring, and amazing children ready to start their first-grade year! With the state of the world, my students are suffering immensely from the impacts of COVID-19. This year we worked together to make it through online learning. I was extremely inspired by my students' efforts to participate as best they could despite not having access to basic materials- WiFi, pencils, notebooks, and in a lot of cases quality food. We need your help!
Our school is a K-8 school located in North Philadelphia.
All of our children qualify for free or reduced-price lunches. I want to make sure that my students have all the materials they need to become successful in first grade!
My Project
The items in this project will allow students the chance to use whiteboards, erasers, and clipboards without having to share. In the past, we have shared these materials. In order to be sure my students are safe they will be given their own personal clipboard, whiteboard, and eraser. In the community in which I teach it is essential that my students attend school each day.
This project will help make sure my students are not only staying healthy by not sharing materials but will also help keep our classroom organized!
