Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students love to read and they enjoy it when I’m able to integrate technology into my lessons. They come from low-income households and many do not have the means to experience with the world outside of their four walls except through technology.
Many of my students don't have the ability to learn online.
Many depend on the resources that I share with them through technology. Despite the hardships they are facing with school being closed, they are eager learners and are always seeking ways to learn more. They depend on me to provide them engaging lessons.
My Project
The use of a Lenovo Chromebook will allow me to create one-to-one computing environment. The Chromebook will allow me to continue teaching students during this school closure as well as help students enhance skills in dyslexia. I will be able to share resources and skills using technology.
Using the Lenovo Chromebook I will be able to provide curriculum support and additional information to enhance my students' reading skills.
Also, the Lenovo Chromebook will allow me to Integrate technology in an effective way to connect with my students with dyslexia and their various learning styles.
