Staying Connected With Technology

My Students

My students are kind, hard working, and excited to learn. They hit the ground running with distance learning and I couldn't have been prouder of them.

In the classroom, my students love using technology, especially to share with their parents what we're working on in the classroom.

Although they love using the classroom iPads, the 7 we have in our classroom are older than most of my students! These iPads no longer support updates and are not Seesaw compatible. I would love to have a classroom iPad that students can use to share their in-class work with parents. I am lucky to have the opportunity to try to be the best teacher I can be for a group of kids trying to be the best students they can be!

My Project

I'm fortunate to have 7 classroom iPads, however they are all older than my students! Our classroom iPads no longer support updates and while students get excited to use them, they often feel frustrated when the iPads don't work correctly.

This classroom iPad would help students share their classwork with parents, use the latest academic apps, and get familiar with Seesaw should we need to go back to distance learning.

By donating to my project, you would be helping both first graders as well as their families by keeping them connected.
