My Students

My students are excited to learn! They are a lively bunch and are discovering new things every day. For about 2/3 of my class, this is their first time in school (even though they are first graders). Most had no type of school whatsoever in 2020, and a few had some formal teaching. It is a struggle every day to reach all of them but I'm determined to find what works for each of them.

My Project

Establishing a CLEAN environment for my students to learn has always been of utmost importance to me. It is even more critical as we navigate through this global pandemic.

Providing a hands-free sanitizing station at the door and a soap dispenser at the sink will help to limit the spread of germs in our classroom.

Covid-19 is very prevalent in our community and has affected several classrooms at our school.

Students will be able to use the hands-free stations frequently as we transition between activities, after recess, before lunch, before they go home, and whenever they see fit.
