This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a school counselor, my job is to serve the needs of all the students on campus. We have students that have diabetes. There are times when their blood sugar is high, and they have to leave class and take walks or go to the gym in order to lower their blood sugar. These students are losing valuable instruction time.
Students will be able to continue the learning process while maintaining a healthy blood sugar level by the using one of these pieces of equipment.
The desk mini exercise bike can fit under the students' desks and allow the students to stay in class!
