My Students
My students come to school each day and leave behind all the difficulties of their home lives. These kids are an inspiration! My students live in extreme poverty, but they don't let that hinder their drive for success! Our school is a unique, one-of-a-kind opportunity for these inner-city kids to get the most out of their education through academic rigor and recognition for their hard work, and I am determined to do what it takes to help them achieve that!
My Project
My students don't always come to school in clean clothes. There are many circumstances but often clothes are hand-me-downs or they just don't get washed as often as they should. No student should be forced to come to school without the bare necessities!
My scholars need uniform shirts, sweatshirts, and deodorant to ensure they are clean and ready to learn each day!
As sixth graders, they are very aware and conscious of their attire. Many students want to wear the right clothes to school but this is often hard on families. This project will ensure each student has everything they need to be confident at school in their dress code!
