My Project

These amazing tools will enhance social, emotional growth and academic success for our at-risk students. Because of the pandemic, many of our students struggle to self regulate and use problem solving skills in their classrooms and at school. They often feel scared, frustrated and overwhelmed with the learning environment. We use lots of social emotional strategies, strong teacher-student relationships and community support to ensure that our students feel safe, welcomed and excited to learn. However, our resources are limited and are not up-to-date with what students are currently interested in. The social emotional lessons I teach, focus on proactive solutions to help students learn how to independently problem solve, express/regulate emotions, and self regulate in a positive way. Your donation will help me continue to teach these crucial social skills. Thank you for considering my project. It means the world to me, my students and our school!
