Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our district educates approximately 250 residential and day students in kindergarten through grade 12 who have emotional, behavioral, and learning problems. Most students reside here and live in cottages with an array of different staff members supporting them.
The computer lab is open to students in grades kindergarten through twelve.
Our classroom is designed to attract all ages and has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere of happiness to it when you enter. We try to keep a peaceful environment. Lessons are tailored to each student's ability and most often, one-on-one instruction is necessary.
My Project
It's time to stay active at home. Help me give my students some basketballs and pumps to stay active at home. I would like them to play basketball at home. Staying healthy and fit is important for your health and lifestyle. Since I teach many students, these items are only for those students who earn them! I wish I could provide all my students with these items but I can't so I am hoping we can help as many students as we can! I know my students LOVE to play basketball so this will be a great motivator to do well in my classroom and I can't wait to give these items to them!
