My Students

For the 2018-2019 school year, I have had the wonderful opportunity to teach 2nd grade for the first time! I have been a kindergarten teacher for 7 years and I am loving this new school year with a new age group!

A large majority of the school's population receives free or reduced-price lunch, which can lead to many students not having the means to purchase all of the learning materials they need to be successful in school.

My classroom is in need of materials to ensure learning gains and success for all of my students.

My Project

Students need fun and engaging ways to learn! By providing them with a variety of opportunities and ways to learn curriculum, you are more likely to reach more students. I am asking for a variety of reading and math station activities to building reading comprehension, fluency, grammar, and math skills.

Students need hands-on activities to stimulate their brains.

Gone are the days of learning from a workbook. By providing these station activities to my students I will be able to reach a wider range of students and learning styles. Students will have the opportunity to learn from one another. More students will master reading and math skills quicker and be better prepared for higher grades and testing.
