Stations for Students

Help me give my students work stations! In primary grades, giving the students opportunities to work independently on a skill while using fine motor skills to manipulate items, is incredibly beneficial.

My Students

I am a primary teacher at a school in North Texas. Each kinder classroom houses 18-22 students. Many of the students have attended pre-kindergarten as well.

The kinder students are precious and love anything hands on.

Station work in crucial in primary grades as it provides students an opportunity to work independently.

The desire to read, understand basic math concepts and increase their knowledge is seeping from their ears and I would love nothing more than to see them be successful during their Kindergarten year and beyond.

My Project

The donations will be used to purchase a complete set of Math and English Language Arts and Reading hands on stations for my class. Each of these stations include everything a group of students would need to continue to work on a skill that has already been taught in class.

The stations are also editable so I can change them through the year to accommodate new skills that we need work on.

Students love being able to work in stations and these well thought- out, colorful and engaging stations are perfect!
