State Street Beautification Project

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In the process of engaging students, parents, and teachers in the community labor of gardening and cleaning their campus, we are fortifying our community ties and commitment to the betterment of our world. The tools listed are necessary in order to revitalize their second home into a, once again, welcoming, healthy, and calming learning environment.

My students are hard-working, dedicated, and motivated beings who wish to become a part of something bigger within their community.

The beautification of our school will provide a special opportunity for students, parents, and teachers to unite as one and personally positively impact their learning environment. An experience that will ensure their proud sense of belonging to our school, to our community.

This event will promote students' sense of responsibility for their environment and foster the love for nature in the process. Inviting families to lend a helping hand reinforces the understanding that our responsibility with our world is a life-long commitment, and we all play a vital role. In addition, students will in turn have a welcoming, healthy, and peaceful learning environment that will promote their well-being all year long.
