My Students
My students are first graders and excited every day to learn. They are coming from a half-day kindergarten program, so this is their first year of all-day school.
My students are excited to learn and excited to work hard.
We are learning to read and to explore the world around us. We need supplies and books to help us see the world.
Students are learning to read so adding books to our library that I can read to students helps them with modeling. Having books that they can read helps their reading development grow and grow. A variety of different books helps students to see the world around them.
My Project
As the year starts I look for ways to excite my students with new science and social studies ideas. This year we want flashlights and magnifying glasses that will help us compare and analyze dirt, and rocks. We also want books that will expand our view of the world.
Books help fill a need in our social studies and science curriculum.
We need books with accurate information and exciting details to share with students. The books we use also need to have great literacy value.
Help my students to have books and supplies to help in our class room. Science and social studies are so important in our curriculum as we understand life and people.
