Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students at our school are learning not only academics but how to become good citizens. We have made a special place for them to come and deal with the stressors they will encounter at home or on campus. This child-friendly environment comes equipped with materials for play therapy, and art therapy.
What we need now is a carpet where all our students can come together, hold discussions as a group, learn how to get a long, how to be better students and feel safe and comfortable while doing so.
