My students need a lot of supplies to start the year! Things like notebooks, paper, maps, pencil sharpeners, and even educational games are going to be so important for my English and Social Studies students!
Middle School students are often making the best out of very tough situations. Materials and activities provided at school make a world of difference for them and their education. They are hard working and are extremely eager to continue to learn and improve. Most of them dream of going on to good high schools and colleges and have dreams of becoming every type of profession from a professional athlete to a real-estate developer or a Navy chef.
Being able to bring in more supplies for the students will greatly increase what we are able to do in class.
My projects here on DonorsChoose are going to go towards helping these students achieve, get on grade level and have more opportunities than they would have before.
My Project
There are so many ways that these resources will be used this year. The students will be completing an interactive notebook, some of them using these notebooks! The Write & Wipe Wall Map will make for a great resource with my 8th grade social studies students, as we study the history of the United States this year. The pencil sharpener, loose paper, and educational games will help us in our day-to-day running of our classroom!
I am so excited for the coming school year, and these materials will help get us up and going from the beginning!
